Fiona Tully wins Girls Under 17 Onewall Title

St. Coman’s had two winners from completely different ends of the spectrum, with Fiona Tully adding to her already extensive collection while Fionn Cusack took his very first national title.

Fiona took the Girls 17 under title showing tremendous composure in both her semi-final against Armagh’s Megan McCann and final against Kildare’s Hannah Dagg to come from 8-0 and 5-0 down respectively to recover and overtake two opponents playing at the peak of their ability. Despite the 15 minute time limit Fiona’s big-game experience meant she never panicked or rushed her shots which led to her normal killing game kicking in by the halfway mark. Strong finishes in both games gave her a hard-earned but deserved title.
