UNDERAGE FOOTBALL & HURLING ACTION CONTINUES THIS WEEK

The underage club championship action continues across Roscommon, with the remaining football finals taking place, along with a busy programme of U12 hurling action on Saturday.

CONNACHT GOLD UNDERAGE FOOTBALL

The Connacht Gold Underage Football Championships are nearing their conclusion, with the last few finals to be played. There is one final taking place on Thursday, 1st October, followed by another on Friday, 2nd October, while the remaining U16 Division 4 Championship Final is still to be arranged.

Thursday, 1st October 2026: Team sheets for the U14 Division 3 Championship Shield Final between Elphin/Ballinameen v Strokestown can be found HERE.

Friday, 2nd October 2026: Team sheets for the U16 Division 3 Championship Cup Final between Clann na nGael v St Michael’s/St Ronan’s can be found HERE.

MATA365 UNDERAGE HURLING

There is also plenty of underage hurling action to look forward to on Saturday, 3rd October, with a number of U12 Hurling Go Games Finals taking place in Ballyforan.

Teams from Roscommon Gaels, Tooreen, Athleague/Tremane, Castlebar Mitchels, St Dominic’s, Oran Hurling, Four Roads and Pádraig Pearses will all be in action.

Games get underway from 11am, with full fixture details available on the Roscommon GAA website HERE 

The MATA365 U16 Hurling Championship also continues this week, with Athleague/Tremane/Oran taking on Roscommon Gaels tonight at 6.30pm, with the winners progressing to the U16 Championship Semi-Final on Sunday, 4th October.
