WHO WILL RISE TO THE CHALLENGE AND SECURE A QUARTER-FINAL SPOT?

The stakes are rising as another huge weekend of Roscommon GAA Club Championship action gets underway, with knockout football and hurling taking centre stage.

Quarter-Final places are on the line, championship ambitions will be tested and there is little room for error as the race for county honours intensifies. There is also plenty more action to enjoy, with further games in the Junior Hurling and Junior ‘B’ Football Championships.

GAA Mixed Rounders

Finally, we extend our very best wishes to Kilmore Rounders, who will contest the GAA Rounders Mixed All-Ireland Junior Final on Sunday, 13th September at 11am in Mallow GAA.

Kilmore will face Galway City Rapparees in the decider, and hopefully lightning doesn’t strike twice for Roscommon opposition! The Rapparees’ Ladies team recently overcame Elphin Ladies Rounders in the Intermediate Final, so Kilmore will be hoping to turn the tables and bring some All-Ireland silverware back to Roscommon.

Best of luck to all the players, management and everyone involved with Kilmore Rounders on what promises to be a very special occasion.

Tickets can be purchased via www.universe.com or the match will be available to view on Sport TG4.
