Roscommon Club Championship Quarter-Final Draw – Outcome

AND THEN THERE WERE 8!

The draw for the Hodson Bay Group Senior Football Championship Quarter-Finals took place today in Strokestown GAA following the Preliminary Quarter-Final meeting of North Roscommon and Roscommon Gaels.

Roscommon Gaels claimed the eighth and final Quarter-Final place after overcoming North Roscommon on a scoreline of:
Roscommon Gaels 2-11 (17)
North Roscommon 0-04 (4)

SFC Quarter-Final Draw

The four seeded teams entering the Hodson Bay Group SFC Quarter-Final Draw were: St Brigid’s | Oran | Padraig Pearses | Strokestown

They were joined in the draw by the four remaining Quarter-Finalists: Boyle | Castlerea St Kevin’s | Michael Glaveys | Roscommon Gaels

Each seeded team was drawn against one of the four remaining Quarter-Finalists, with the proviso that teams who met during the group stages could not be drawn against each other again at the Quarter-Final stage.

The route to the Hodson Bay Group SFC Final had already been determined, with the Quarter-Final winners progressing as follows:

Semi-Final 1: Winner QF1 v Winner QF3
Semi-Final 2: Winner QF2 v Winner QF4

QF2: Strokestown v Castlerea St Kevin’s
