Road Safety Information Evening

Roscommon GAA in conjunction with Roscommon County Council and the Road Safety Authority (RSA)  have organised an "Information Evening" for Club Officers to be held in Hannon's Hotel Roscommon on Monday evening next January 8th at 8pm. Catherine Flaherty from the  RSA will be in attendance and will outline what services are available to Clubs through their various programmes including "Play it Safe". 

‘Play it Safe’ was developed by the RSA in association with the GAA, FAI, IRFU, and Cycling Ireland. It presents information on organising sporting events with road safety in mind by encouraging the use of high visibility clothing, safe driving practices etc. 

Through the provision of these guidelines, the RSA will assist all relevant personnel in sporting organisations with information on how to be road safety aware when organising sporting activities or travelling to and from sporting events.

All interested club officers are asked to attend.
