All Ireland Scór Sinsir Finals 2026

The All Ireland Scór Sinsir Finals will be held on Saturday, April 25th at the TF Theatre in Castlebar. After demonstrating strong performance across all eight disciplines in the Connacht competition and securing the Cormac McGill Cup for the county due to outstanding participation and success, Roscommon will now aim to conclude their Scór campaign by pursuing national recognition.

Elphin GAA are first up for Roscommon as they take part in Tráth na gCeist. This competition is initially run off as a table quiz amongst 12 qualifiers, 3 from each province. With a proven pedigree in this event, Elphin will hope to emulate the club’s very first All Ireland Scór title, for Tráth na gCeisteanna, won in 1972. The Elphin team of Mick Rock, Colm Beirne, Mattie Hynes and Micheál Gunn, will be hoping they also win a national title.

St. Michael’s GAA club make their maiden voyage in the All Ireland Ballad Group decider. Aoife & Ronan Guckian, Chloe McGuinness, Sorcha Gilboy and Niamh Reynolds have represented their Club from Scór na bPáistí to Scór na nÓg and onto senior level and so their journey to the national final is very special and testament to their committement and hard work.  St. Michael’s have been loyal Scór participants over the years and this talented young group of singers will hope they can emulate their club’s last All Ireland Scór win which came in Novelty Act way back in 1974.

In contrast, St. Dominic’s assume the stage as reigning All Ireland champions in the Novelty Act on Saturday. Perennial participants at the national level of Scór, the Knockcroghery group of Laura Leonard, Sylvia Kilcline, Tommy Hurley, Kathy Dervan, Mary Ann Philips, Noel Dervan and Anne Gillespie, have nothing to prove but will hope their sketch can make it back to back All Ireland Scór titles. If Rory can do it, why not St Dominics!

Coiste Scór agus Cultúir CLG Ros Comáin & Roscommon GAA extend best wishes to all of the county’s representatives as they fly the Rossie flag in Castlebar. To have such a strong Roscommon presence at the finals is a wonderful achievement. Na Rosaithe Abú!
