Roscommon GAA Scór Sinsir 2022 Launch Night
Coiste Scór agus Cultúir Ros Comáin invites clubs and individuals interested in getting the GAA’s famed cultural competition going in their area, to attend a launch/information event in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon, this Thursday 1st September at 8.30pm.
Scór na nÓg enjoyed a wonderful and very successful return to activities this year, with Roscommon clubs qualifying for 4 events at national level. The Senior competition offers all of the same rivalry and fun to GAA members, proving a great social outlet for many as the winter months close in. The Roscommon Senior Scór County Final will take place in Kilmurry Hall, on Saturday 8th October. While Roscommon has many loyal Scór clubs who rarely fail to enter the competitions, there are many clubs who with a little information and assistance, could easily rejuvenate participation in their area. Within each parish there is someone able to represent their club in Solo Singing or recite a piece in the Recitation/Storytelling and local quiz team able to give the Tráth na gCeist a go.. The short launch event will take place in Hannon’s Hotel, Roscommon, this Thursday evening at 8.30pm. All are welcome. The 8 Scór disciplines are: Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Recitation/Storytelling, Ballad Group, Question Time, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music and Set Dancing
