Former Roscommon Captain is remembered

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Adrian O’Sullivan.

Adrian has the distinction of being the only person to captain Roscommon to minor, U21 and senior titles, in 1965, 1969 and 1972 respectively.

Adrian won four Roscommon Senior Football Championships with his native Castlerea St. Kevin’s.

Roscommon GAA Chairperson, Brian Carroll, has passed on his condolences; “On behalf of Roscommon GAA, I extend my deepest sympathy on the sad passing of Adrian to his brother Declan, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Anita and Karen, nieces Clare and Caroline and his extended family.”

Adrian will be remembered during a minutes silence prior to Sunday’s Senior Football Championship Final at Dr. Hyde Park.
