About Night and Day 2023

‘Night and Day’ is a two-day, boutique music festival that will take place in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon on the 24th & 25th of June.  The team behind the festival are proud Rossies who are in fact direct descendants of Michael Glavey, after whom the GAA club in Ballinlough is named.

The festival will feature over 30 artists including Mercury Rev, Anna Calvi, Hot House Flowers, Pillow Queens, David Keenan, Wallis Bird, Gruff Rhys and Emma Langford.

It is an over-20s event, but those under 12 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult.

Families are a very important part of the Night and Day festival community, so much so that there will be a dedicated family area for parents and children to enjoy together.  The emphasis this year is firmly on participation and creativity.  Kids will get the opportunity to partake in a diverse range of activities and workshops. Whether it be drumming, dancing, foraging, circus skills, or Lego bricks, there is something to ignite the imaginations of all who are lucky enough to attend.

In addition to the great music, great food and great atmosphere, festival attendees will also be able to enjoy Lough Keys’ unique cluster of activities and attractions that are suitable for all ages and interests. You can do as much or as little as you like in this historical forest setting surrounded by woodland and water at the centre of ‘Irelands Hidden Heartlands’.

All the campsites at Night and Day will open on Friday 23 June at 3 pm so festival goers will have time to enjoy all Lough Key has to offer. The 50-berth Lough Key Marina will be open throughout the festival weekend.

Club Rossie members can avail of a 10% discount on festival tickets by entering the discount code ClubRossie23 at checkout on https://nightandday.ie/tickets

Also included in the prize is accommodation at Cryan’s Hotel, Carrick on Shannon; a 24-roomed family-run hotel, approximately 15 minutes from the venue.
